Leisurely family hiking on the Maltaberg or high alpine mountaineering on our three thousand meter peaks – over 300km of marked hiking trails invite you and your family to experience the unique landscape!
Only 5km from the Maltatal campsite is the Fallbach – Carinthia’s highest waterfall. Linger at this power point and recharge your batteries with the moist ion wind, which has a regenerating effect on the respiratory tract and nervous system.
Right next to the waterfall is a great games and adventure park for the whole family, as well as a breathtaking, perfectly secured sport climbing route.

The approx. 18km long family bike trail runs from Gmünd via Malta to the toll station of the Hochalmstraße. Cycle off the main road, along the Malta River, and marvel at the surrounding nature!
