The Maltatal is located in the southernmost province of Austria, Carinthia, between the National Park HOHE TAUERN and the Biosphere Park NOCKBERGE.
With Heart and Nature – That’s Camping Maltatal
Nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape of Carinthia, our Campingplatz im Maltatal sits at 800 meters above sea level – a place to breathe, relax, and enjoy. Across 4 hectares, you’ll find around 220 spacious pitches (80–110 m²), terraced and all equipped with electricity. Most pitches also have direct water and sewage connections.
The campsite is surrounded by shady trees and well-kept hedges, providing privacy and a natural atmosphere. Two modern sanitary buildings ensure top comfort, and motorhome guests have access to a convenient service and disposal station.

Our sanitary facility
At our Maltatal campsite we attach great importance to hygiene and cleanliness. Two modern equipped sanitary buildings, distributed on the campsite, provide optimal conditions for a relaxing vacation. Our sun-drenched, spacious panoramic oasis not only offers breathtaking views, but also features luxurious amenities including showers, toilets, washers, dryers, an infrared cabin and much more. Even for the smallest vacationers there is a baby washing cabin and for people with disabilities there is a barrier-free washing cabin. In this way we ensure that all our guests feel comfortable and can enjoy their vacation to the fullest.
